Advantages Of Dental Implants

A dental implant is everlasting fix

Once the implant is embedded it can endure forever if you keep up your oral cleanliness and make timely dental appointments.

No bone resorption

With the help of dental implants, bone decay can be prevented. Bone decay usually happens when a natural tooth is missing, causing a change in the overall appearance of the mouth.

Natural appearance

Dental implants can wholly replace the natural teeth, and therefore, the aesthetic value can be easily reestablished after losing a tooth.

Zero damage to neighbor teeth

Dental implants do not require the prior preparation of the neighboring teeth, unlike dental bridges. The neighboring teeth stay intact and retain their original shape.

How Do Implants Work?

The Digital Planning Stage

The case is diagnosed and planned out. A digital clone of the patient’s mouth structure is prepared using 3D imagery, photographs, and video. The surgery is planned and prepared accordingly.

The Surgical Stage

As per the initial planning, the surgery is executed and the implants are restored in the bone.

Prosthetic Stage

The crowns for the implants are fixed in this stage.

Digital Implantology

“If you fail to plan—then you plan to fail”—Benjamin Franklin

One of the most important stages in Implant treatment is the PLANNING of the entire treatment outcome before beginning the treatment.

Digital Implantology involves the usage of 3D imaging of the patient’s jaw. The images are then imported on a proprietary implant software to virtually pinpoint the correct location of future artificial teeth and then a decision is made on the ideal positioning of the dental Implants placement in the jaw.

This virtual plan is then used to make Drilling and Positioning Guides for the Implants during surgery, which ensures our patients have a safer, quicker and comfortable dental experience.

The precision, accuracy, and speed of the digital implant technology bring about extraordinary results.

Dental Implants Procedures

One Stage Procedure

In this procedure, a connector is placed over the implants at the time of the surgery. Following a 2 to 4 month healing period during which the implant fuses to the bone, a life-like tooth is then placed on the implant thus restoring the immediate appearance of a healthy and normal tooth. The one stage dental implant systems are generally used when the bone quality is good, hence guaranteeing good initial implant stability.

Two Stage Procedure

The two-stage procedure is an approach where the connector is not placed on the implants at the time of surgery. It is generally employed when the bone quality and quantity is very poor. This procedure is used to replace those teeth where there is no immediate requirement for a cosmetic solution or when more of a margin of safety is required. Through this approach, the implants are placed into your jawbone and the gum tissues cover them. They remain unexposed to the mouth, but stay buried and are left to heal. Once healed, a second surgery is then performed to attach a connector to secure the teeth in proper place.

Implant Solutions

For single missing teeth

Single dental implants have a crown on top of it. They appear to be similar to natural teeth because they are single implants that replace only those particular teeth that have lost.

For Multiple missing teeth

If multiple teeth in the upper or lower jaw are missing, a dental bridge supported by dental implants is recommended for long term stability and use.

For complete loss of teeth

All-on-4 Dental Implants

This solution is for patients who may have less available jawbone. Four implants per jaw provide enough stability to support a fixed dental bridge for a lifetime.

All-on-6 Dental Implants

This solution uses six dental implants for each jaw. It is used on patients who do not have perfect jawbones but have sufficient bone to support six implants. This provides an excellent anchor for teeth fixed on top of the implants.

All-on-8 Dental Implants

This solution uses eight dental implants per jaw and it the most recommended and stable option for dental implants. It involves the greatest number of dental implants, has the strongest grip on the jaw and has enough bone to sustain eight implants.

For compromised bone quality and quantity

Basal dental implantology is a technique used an advanced implantology system which utilizes the basal – cortical portion of the jaw bones for retention of the dental implants. In patients with deficient bone in the jaw, where a conventional implant might not work, or may require advanced surgeries for increasing the volume of the bone, basal implants work the best without the need of extensive advanced surgeries.
